May 12, 2024 - IRAN. Amin Jafari executed in Isfahan on May 12.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison on 12 May. His identity has been established as Amin Jafari who was sentenced for murder.
A source told IHR: “Amin Jafari was arrested for murder charges four years ago.”
IHR previously reported the execution of four other men at the prison that day, bringing the total number to five.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
