June 3, 2026 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Isfahan on June 3

Mohammad Qasem Abdehvand, Rahim Qanbari, Farrokh Amjadi

According to information received by Hengaw, the executions of three prisoners were carried out in the early hours of June 3, 2026, at Isfahan Central Prison. The prisoners were identified as Mohammad Qasem Abdehvand, 33, and Rahim Qanbari, 38, both Lor men from Masjed Soleyman in Khuzestan Province, and Farrokh Amjadi, 46, from Khomeinishahr in Isfahan Province. All three had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

Sources told Hengaw that Abdehvand and Qanbari had been sentenced to death in a joint case. Amjadi, a father of two, had been arrested approximately four years earlier.

Iranian state media have not reported the executions of these prisoners.
