According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Zanjan Central Prison on 8 February 2025. His identity has been established as Ali Rezaei, a 50-year-old father of two children aged 9 and 14.
Ali was from Takestan in Qazvin and a carpenter prior to arrest. Ali was sentenced to death for drug-related offences. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
