June 9, 2024: June 9, 2024 - Iran. Mostafa Alipour executed in Yazd on June 9.
According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Yazd Central Prison on 9 June. His identity has been established as 35-year-old Mostafa Alipour who was sentenced to death for drug-related offences by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Mostafa Alipour was a father of one who was arrested for drug charges around three years ago.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
