October 31, 2024: October 31, 2024 - IRAN. Hamed Doyesti executed in Isfahan on October 31.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison on 31 October. His identity has been established as 35-year-old Hamed Doyesti who was arrested five years ago and sentenced for murder. A source told IHR: “More than 70 murder death row prisoners currently held in wards 8, 9 and 10 of the prison, are scheduled to be executed shortly.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
