According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Sunday, June 11, 2023, the death sentences of Haidar Chishti, 34 years old, and another prisoner whose identity remains unknown, both from Torbat-e Jam, were executed in the Central Prison of this city.
These two inmates were arrested three years ago and, on charges of drug-related crimes, sentenced to death. They were reportedly Sunni Muslims.
At the time of this reporting, the government-associated media outlets had not announced the execution of these two inmates.
