Edris Gomshad-Zehi executed in Zahedan Prison on January 20.
At dawn of Thursday January 20, a Baluch inmate, Edris Gomshad-Zehi, was executed on charge of murder in Zahedan Prison. Gomshad-Zehi, whose registered birth certificate name was Abdolhamid Solmazehi Koorani (also Abdolhamid Samalzehi Kurni), 40, was executed in Zahedan prison. About five years ago, Edris was detained along with Khodanazar Qanbarzehi (Anwar) during a clash with regime’s agents. According to Haalwash website, two years ago Edris and Anwar were sentenced to death in a Zahedan court. They objected the decree, and the case was sent to the Supreme Court, which upheld it. Edris Gomashad-Zehi was 40 years old, married with six children. He was the son of Laskaran from Koorin region. Mr. Qanbarzehi was executed about a year ago.
