IRAN: CONDANNATO A MORTE UN ALTRO PARTECIPANTE ALLE ‘PROTESTE DI NOVEMBRE’

March 23, 2020:

Un giovane è stato condannato a morte in Iran per aver partecipato alle “proteste di novembre”, ha riportato il 21 marzo 2020 Iran-Human Rights Monitor.
Siamak Moghimi Momeni è stato arrestato a novembre 2019 dagli agenti della guarnigione di Sarallah dell'IRGC. Nel febbraio 2020, Momeni, era stato processato dalla Sezione 24 della Corte rivoluzionaria di Teheran, e condannato a 10 anni di prigione per "adunata sediziosa e collusione", "propaganda contro lo stato" e "offesa a Khamenei e Rouhani". Ma dopo un mese, le autorità gli hanno detto di essersi sbagliate, e hanno modificato il capo d’imputazione in moharebeh ("inimicizia contro Dio") e lo hanno condannato a morte. La sentenza è stata emessa dalla sezione 2 della Corte rivoluzionaria di Shahriar, presieduta dal giudice Ramazani.
Moghimi stava tornando a casa dal lavoro quando è transitato in una zona pervasa da gas lacrimogeni lanciati dalle forze dell’ordine contro i manifestanti. Arrestato e inizialmente portato al quartier generale della polizia di Shahriar, è stato poi trasferito al dipartimento di intelligence di Shahriar, dove è stato picchiato durante l'interrogatorio. Successivamente è stato portato in una delle tre prigioni di Teheran, il Penitenziario Maggiore di Teheran (Greater Tehran Penitentiary) anche detta Fashafuyeh.
Ad oggi, il regime iraniano non ha fornito numeri ufficiali sui morti, feriti o arrestati durante la durissima repressione delle proteste popolari esplose a metà novembre dopo un forte aumento del prezzo dei carburanti. Tuttavia il portavoce del Comitato Parlamentare sulla Sicurezza Nazionale, Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, ha fornito una stima iniziale di 7000 persone arrestate durante le proteste. Secondo testimonianze oculari, resoconti dei media statali e fonti affidabili interne all’Iran, almeno 1.500 persone sono state uccise durante i sei giorni di proteste in più di 144 città. Durante le proteste sono rimaste ferite e sono state arrestate migliaia di persone, compresi ragazzi di appena 15 anni. A febbraio un tribunale di Teheran ha condannato a morte tre manifestanti. I tre giovani, identificati come Amir Hossein Moradi, Saied Tamjidi e Mohammad Rajabi sono stati anche condannati a 38 anni di prigione e 222 frustate dal tribunale rivoluzionario di Teheran. I tre sono attualmente detenuti nel famoso Penitenziario Maggiore di Teheran.
