CHINA: TWO HUMAN TRAFFICKERS ARE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR SNATCHING NINE BOYS FROM THEIR NEIGHBOURS BEFORE SELLING THEM ON
January 9, 2019: Two human traffickers on 27 December 2018 were sentenced to death in China for snatching nine boys from their neighbours before selling them on, according to Chinese media. All of the children were abducted between 2003 and 2005 in the southern Guangdong Province. They remain missing after more than 13 years. The key figure of the case, a middleman nicked named 'Aunt Mei' who was responsible for finding the buyers for the kidnapped boys, is still at large.
