KUWAIT: TWO CITIZENS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR RAPE

Two Kuwaiti citizens were sentenced to capital punishment over their involvement in raping a female citizen.
The Criminal Court convicted them of kidnapping the woman in December 2016 as she was near her house and raping her in the area of Al-Jabiriya.
The court faced the defendants with compelling evidence and sentenced them to death by hanging and fined them KD5001 each.
