N. KOREA PURGES 30 OFFICIALS INVOLVED IN INTER-KOREAN TALKS

July 14, 2011: a South Korean government source said North Korea had reportedly purged 30 officials who participated in inter-Korean talks or supervised bilateral dialogue via execution by firing squad or staged traffic accidents. “Thirty people have been confirmed to have died or gone missing until recently.
