IRAN HANGS FOUR CONVICTED DRUG SMUGGLERS
May 25, 2010: four people were hanged in the prison of Yazd after they were convicted of drug smuggling, the official site of the Iranian judiciary in Yazd reported. According to the report three of the men identified as âA. Sh.â, âKh. N.â and âM. B.â were convicted of keeping 67 Kg crack, 120 Kg Marijuana, 36 Kg opium and 7 Kg heroin, while the fourth person identified as âM. M.â was convicted of trafficking of 125 Kg opium.
