ZAMBIA: THREE BROTHERS TO HANG FOR KILLING DAD
June 22, 2009: the Lusaka High Court in Zambia sentenced three brothers to death for killing their father using sticks and other objects.
The Mpalaula brothers, Ringtone, 44, Allan, 22 and Morgan, 18, of Chibolongwe Village in Chongwe, allegedly murdered Moses Mpalaula, 87, on December 28, 2008.
They accused him of bewitching their mother and three of their sisters. High Court Judge Eddie Sikazwe sentenced them to death by hanging. (Sources: AllAfrica.com, 22/06/2009)
