brothers Ilyas and Ghulam Abbas and their cousin Asif were hanged till death at Gujranwala central jail, Pakistan, for the murder of five people. The three were hanged after desperate attempts to seek forgiveness from the families of the victims had failed. The hangings had been postopned four times in order for a compromise to be sought. Prior to being executed they reportedly told their families not to seek revenge for their deaths. The convicts had shot dead Liaqat, Akram, Inayat, Abid and Zahid in 1995 due to a previous feud.
