MALAYSIA. COURT UPHOLDS DEATH SENTENCE ON INDONESIAN NATIONAL FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
March 30, 2006: Malaysia’s Court of Appeal upheld a High Court decision to send an Indonesian man to the gallows for trafficking in cannabis. The appeals court ruled that the trial court had not erred in its decision to impose the death sentence on Parlan Dadeh, 33, for trafficking in 436.2g of cannabis.
