SAUDI ARABIA. THREE SAUDI NATIONALS BEHEADED FOR MURDER

Beheading in Saudi Arabia

21 December 2005 :

three Saudis were beheaded by the sword after being convicted of murder in separate incidents, the interior ministry said.
Suleiman bin Saad al-Chaathan, Thamer bin Salem al-Anzi and Hassan bin Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Mashi were all executed in Riyadh. They had been convicted by the sharia (Islamic law) court of shooting dead three other Saudis during "heated arguments".
