A man, identified only as Meysam, was executed on October 28 in Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) prison. Rokna state-run News Agency stated that a prisoner was executed on Wednesday in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj. His name was Meysam and he was accused of premeditated murder. His death sentence was submitted by Branch 1 of the Criminal Court of Tehran Province and approved by the Supreme Court. Meysam was arrested on May 16, 2018 on charges of murder and has been in prison ever since then.
